Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify shop drawings for mechanical systems.
• Coordinate technical activities between mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, material submittals, and engineering documentation.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve implementation challenges.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and applicable codes.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Material Take-Offs (MTO).
• Assist procurement teams in material selection and technical evaluations.
• Review contractor submissions and coordinate approval processes.
• Support project planning, reporting, and technical coordination activities.
• Maintain accurate technical records and project documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in MEP engineering and technical office operations.
• Strong experience with HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, SBC, and other relevant engineering codes and standards.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, MTO processes, and procurement support activities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced construction projects.
• Experience in large-scale contracting projects is highly desirable.
