Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and commissioning for HV, MV, and LV systems.
• Conduct testing and commissioning activities for protection equipment and relays.
• Support substation installation and electrical infrastructure projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform root-cause analysis.
• Execute preventive maintenance and testing for electrical equipment.
• Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Assist in protection and control system implementation and verification.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to achieve project milestones and operational objectives.
• Support various electrical engineering activities based on project needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering).
• Graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Power System Protection and Control concepts.
• Knowledge of Protection Relays and Protection & Control Systems.
• Experience or understanding of Electrical Substations.
• Familiarity with Testing and Commissioning Activities.
• Ability to read and interpret:
  • Electrical Schematics
  • Wiring Diagrams
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Preferred Certifications

• Electrical Testing and Commissioning certifications are advantageous.
• Protection Relay Training certifications are beneficial.
