Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical testing and commissioning for HV, MV, and LV systems.
- Conduct testing and commissioning activities for protection equipment and relays.
- Support substation installation and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform root-cause analysis.
- Execute preventive maintenance and testing for electrical equipment.
- Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Assist in protection and control system implementation and verification.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and engineering requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to achieve project milestones and operational objectives.
- Support various electrical engineering activities based on project needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering).
- Graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Power System Protection and Control concepts.
- Knowledge of Protection Relays and Protection & Control Systems.
- Experience or understanding of Electrical Substations.
- Familiarity with Testing and Commissioning Activities.
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Electrical Schematics
- Wiring Diagrams
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred Certifications
- Electrical Testing and Commissioning certifications are advantageous.
- Protection Relay Training certifications are beneficial.
- Relevant power systems and substation training programs are preferred.
