🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines within Cloudera ecosystems (CDP, Hadoop, HDFS)

• Develop data transformations using Spark / PySpark and advanced SQL

• Build, optimize, and maintain Hive and Impala-based data structures

• Develop and manage enterprise ETL workflows using IBM DataStage and/or Informatica

• Design and maintain Data Warehouse models (Star and Snowflake schemas)

• Integrate data from core banking and financial systems

• Implement data quality, validation, and reconciliation frameworks

• Optimize distributed processing performance for large-scale financial datasets

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT, reporting, and business teams to ensure data integrity and availability

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering

• Proven experience within banking or financial services environments

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Cloudera (CDP, Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Impala)

• Advanced proficiency in Spark / PySpark

• Strong SQL expertise

• Experience with enterprise ETL tools (IBM DataStage, Informatica)

• Expertise in Data Warehouse modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas)

• Experience with Oracle databases

• Knowledge of distributed system performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to OFSAA-related data structures

• Experience handling large-scale financial reporting datasets
