A leading industrial project team is hiring an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor for major oil & gas and petrochemical projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires a professional with Saudi Aramco or SABIC approval, capable of managing complex scaffolding operations while ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

The successful candidate will supervise the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures across refinery, petrochemical, and EPC construction projects. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in scaffolding systems, and a thorough understanding of permit-to-work systems, scaffolding inspections, and international safety standards.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

Supervise erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on construction sites.
Ensure strict compliance with client safety standards and project specifications.
Conduct routine scaffolding inspections and maintain Scafftag systems.
Coordinate with construction managers, safety officers, and client inspectors.
Ensure adherence to the Work Permit System (WPS) on site.
Lead and monitor scaffolding crews to meet project productivity targets.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for scaffolding teams.
Review and interpret scaffolding drawings and load calculations.
Manage proper storage, handling, and control of scaffolding materials.
Maintain documentation and report scaffolding activities to project management.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

Education

Diploma or Technical Certification in Engineering, Construction, or related technical discipline (preferred)

Experience

Minimum 6–7 years of scaffolding experience
At least 3–5 years of experience on Saudi Arabia oil & gas projects

Mandatory Certifications

Saudi Aramco or SABIC Approval as Scaffolding Supervisor (Mandatory)
CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor Certification or equivalent
Valid HSE Certifications
Working at Height Certification

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of international scaffolding standards and safety regulations
Experience with scaffolding inspections, Scafftag systems, and permit-to-work systems
Ability to review technical scaffolding drawings and load calculations

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and manpower management skills
Excellent planning, coordination, and reporting abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience

Experience in refinery shutdown or turnaround projects
Experience working with EPC contractors
Familiarity with Saudi Aramco General Instructions (GI) and SABIC safety standards
