Job Overview
Optimal Iron Company is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager with strong hands-on expertise in steel structure fabrication and erection to lead quality assurance and quality control activities within our factory operations.
This role is critical in ensuring that all steel structure works meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and industry regulations. Only candidates with proven steel-structure QA/QC experience and a transferable Iqama will be considered.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA/QC systems for steel structure fabrication and erection projects

Develop and implement quality assurance plans, procedures, and inspection protocols

Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and international standards

Conduct inspections and audits across fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities

Monitor material traceability, testing, and certification requirements

Coordinate with production, engineering, and site teams to resolve quality issues

Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and inspection records
-
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive measures

Support client inspections and third-party quality audits

Ensure continuous improvement of quality processes within factory operations
Requirements & Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience as a QA/QC Manager in steel structure fabrication and erection

Strong knowledge of welding inspections, material standards, and fabrication quality control
-
Experience working in factory-based steel manufacturing environments
-
Transferable Iqama is mandatory

Strong leadership, reporting, and communication skills

Relevant QA/QC certifications are an advantage
