Job Overview
Top International Engineering Corporation Arabia Limited (Chinese Engineering Company) is currently constructing a large-scale integrated project in Riyadh and is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join its project delivery team.
This role is ideal for a planning professional with strong expertise in construction scheduling, project controls, and progress reporting using Primavera P6 and MS Project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project milestones, timelines, and resource planning are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Develop overall project construction schedules and milestone plans

Prepare monthly, weekly, and bi-weekly rolling plans
-
Create specialized construction schedules for key work packages
-
Use Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to decompose construction works effectively
-
Perform Primavera P6 / MS Project scheduling and critical path analysis
-
Conduct resource and cost loading for project activities
-
Monitor site progress and collect performance data
-
Analyze planned vs actual progress and prepare corrective recommendations

Provide weekly and monthly schedule updates and delay analysis
-
Prepare Project Progress Analysis Reports including Gantt Charts and S-Curves
Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in:

Engineering Management

Civil Engineering
-
Industrial & Civil Construction
-
Related engineering fields
-

Minimum 8 years of relevant project planning experience

Strong knowledge of construction project controls and scheduling tools

Proficiency in Arabic (native Arabic speaker preferred)

Excellent analytical, reporting, and coordination skills
