A leading construction firm in Dammam is seeking a Planning Engineer to oversee project scheduling, resource management, and risk mitigation across construction projects. This role is essential for ensuring timely project delivery, cost control, and efficient resource allocation.
The Planning Engineer will work closely with project managers, site engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop critical path schedules, monitor progress, and implement performance metrics. 🛠 Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project schedules using CPM and other project management tools

Allocate and forecast resources to optimize project efficiency

Monitor project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) and other metrics

Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution

Prepare detailed project status reports and present to stakeholders

Organize and lead status meetings to review progress and resolve issues
🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in planning and project scheduling within the construction industry

Technical Skills: Project scheduling, CPM, EVM, resource forecasting, cost estimation, data analysis, reporting

Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and coordination abilities

Other Requirements: Ability to work on-site in Dammam and manage multiple projects simultaneously
