🧾 Job Overview

Itqan Consulting is seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise network deployments, ensuring high-performance LAN and Fiber Optic infrastructure in line with global industry standards.

The successful candidate will gain extensive hands-on experience in structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and rack installations. 🛠 Key Responsibilities

Structured Cabling & LAN Infrastructure:

• Execute LAN cable pulling, routing, labeling, and dressing according to TIA/EIA standards

• Terminate and test UTP/STP cables (Cat6, Cat6A, etc.)

• Crimp and terminate RJ45 connectors and patch panels

• Conduct testing using cable certifiers and resolve connectivity issues

Fiber Optic Installation & Testing:

• Lay and route fiber cables for indoor and outdoor environments

• Perform fusion and mechanical fiber splicing

• Terminate LC, SC, and other fiber optic connectors

Rack Installation & Equipment Setup:

• Install and configure network racks and cabinets securely

• Mount and organize hardware including patch panels, switches, and routers

• Ensure optimal power distribution, grounding, and cable organization

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in LAN and fiber optic network installations

• Ability to work on-site and travel as needed

• Physically fit for fieldwork, including cable pulling and rack installation

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Adaptable and willing to work flexible hours to meet deployment deadlines

• Technical knowledge of structured cabling standards, fiber splicing, and network hardware
