A leading contractor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor with specialized expertise in utilities infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in water networks, pump stations, underground pipelines, and related utility construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity surveying activities, cost control, contract administration, project measurement, and commercial management throughout project execution.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quantity take-offs and measurement sheets for MEP and utility works.
  • Manage project cost control and commercial activities.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders.
  • Prepare interim payment applications and valuation reports.
  • Monitor project budgets and forecast project costs.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Support procurement and subcontractor management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project standards.
  • Maintain accurate commercial and project documentation.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong utilities project experience is mandatory.
  • Experience with water infrastructure projects, pump stations, and underground pipeline networks.
  • Previous experience working with contractors on infrastructure or utility projects.
  • Candidates currently located in Saudi Arabia with a valid Iqama are preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in quantity surveying and cost management practices.
  • Strong understanding of utility infrastructure construction.
  • Experience preparing BOQs, valuations, and variation orders.
  • Ability to review technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and commercial management.
  • Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying and project management software.
