A leading company in fire protection systems is seeking an experienced Estimation, Costing & Bidding Engineer to support projects in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring accurate cost estimation, project bidding, and technical compliance for fire protection systems, including firefighting and fire alarm projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NFPA standards and Saudi Building Codes, combined with hands-on experience in estimation software and project costing. The Estimation, Costing & Bidding Engineer will collaborate with internal teams and clients, ensuring bids are accurate, competitive, and aligned with technical and regulatory standards.
🛠 Key Responsibilities

Lead estimation, costing, and bidding processes for fire protection projects.

Ensure accuracy in project budgets and proposals using estimation software.

Apply NFPA and Saudi Building Codes standards in all project assessments.

Coordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure bid compliance.

Analyze project requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.

Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality bids.

Maintain documentation of estimations and project costing records.
🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

5+ years of experience in fire protection engineering (firefighting and fire alarm systems).

Gulf/KSA experience preferred (5–7 years).

Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and Saudi Building Codes.

Proficiency in estimation and costing software.

NFPA certification is a plus.

Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
💼 Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated): SAR 140,000 – SAR 200,000 per year
(Based on Estimation, Costing & Bidding Engineer – Fire Protection Projects role, Yanbu location, and 5–7 years’ experience)
