🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspection and quality control of pipeline coating systems to ensure compliance with project specifications

  • Verify coating applications according to ARAMCO standards and industry quality requirements

  • Review project specifications, coating procedures, and application plans before execution

  • Perform on-site inspections of materials, surface preparation, and coating application processes

  • Identify and document non-conformances (NCRs) and recommend corrective actions

  • Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and QC teams to resolve quality issues

  • Maintain accurate inspection records, QC reports, and coating test documentation

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors and site personnel

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during coating operations


🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field

Certifications (Mandatory)

  • ARAMCO Approved Coating QC Inspector Certification

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in coating inspection

  • Pipeline project experience is mandatory, preferably within oil & gas infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of coating systems, corrosion protection methods, and inspection techniques

  • Familiarity with surface preparation standards, coating thickness testing, and defect detection

  • Experience with quality control documentation and inspection reporting

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and contractors

Preferred Professional Certifications

  • NACE Coating Inspector Certification
