China Harbour Engineering Arabia Co. Ltd. (CHEC) is hiring an experienced Claims Manager for the prestigious Arena Block – Diriyah Project in Riyadh. This long-term opportunity is ideal for senior professionals with strong expertise in upstream and downstream contract administration, EOT claims, variation management, and dispute resolution within large-scale construction environments.

The Claims Manager will play a critical role in safeguarding project profitability, managing contractual risk, and supporting dispute resolution strategies. This position requires an Ajeer Contract (No Iqama Transfer) and immediate mobilization following a successful interview.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

Manage upstream and downstream contract administration
Prepare and defend Extension of Time (EOT) claims
Handle variation, disruption, and delay-related claims
Develop claims and counter-claims strategies
Conduct delay analysis using TIA and Window Analysis methodologies
Draft contractual correspondence and negotiation documents
Provide dispute support and contractual advisory services
Ensure compliance with FIDIC contract conditions
Collaborate with project, commercial, and legal teams to mitigate risk

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field

Experience:

Minimum 8+ years of experience in contract and claims management
Mandatory Middle East experience (Saudi Arabia preferred)
Experience in mega or public building projects in Riyadh (preferred)

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of FIDIC Contracts
Baseline and EOT claims preparation
Variation and disruption claims management
Delay analysis techniques (TIA, Window Analysis)
Contract drafting and negotiation skills

Certifications (Preferred):

MRICS
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Construction Law qualification

Language Skills:

Fluent English (Arabic is an advantage)

Additional Requirement:

Ajeer Contract required (No Iqama Transfer)

Average Market Salary (Estimated):
SAR 35,000 – 50,000 per month (Senior-Level, KSA Mega Projects)
